Following a successful career in IT, assorted part-time and voluntary jobs while parenting and several years living abroad, Hilary’s own search for effective therapy began in midlife, when the cumulative effects of stress and adverse experience began to have a serious impact on her physical and mental health.
Hilary’s passion for Biodynamic Therapy, which works with the body-mind connection, stems from her own profound experience of healing and renewal via the therapeutic process, and from the transformations she regularly sees in the lives of her clients.
Hilary’s experience includes work in an NHS Specialist Eating Disorders Service and with a Charity offering both 1-1 therapy and community to Adult Survivors of abuse in childhood, as well as in private practice as a psychotherapist. In addition to offering individual therapy to adults, she leads relaxation groups and themed workshops, promoting wellbeing via self-care and emotional awareness.
Hilary has completed an extensive theoretical and practical training at the London School of Biodynamic Psychotherapy, of which she remains a Clinical Member and Office Holder. She is registered both as a Biodynamic Psychotherapist with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and as a Biodynamic Massage Therapist with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
Hilary offers you an opportunity to take a compassionate look at your life, to gently uncover and resolve the causes of your distress and to rediscover your natural vitality and wellbeing – because she knows that life is worth living well.
